‘Security Refund Scam accused not to be spared’

RAJOURI, Oct 17: Asserting that those involved in "Security Refund Scam" will not be spared at any cost, Registrar Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Professor Iqbal Parvaiz, said that all the scams/scandals had taken place during the previous regime headed by Professor I Hamal, Vice Chancellor and Abdul Rashid Choudhry, Registrar.
It is pertinent to mention here that KTNS yesterday exposed "Security Refund Scam" in BGSBU.
Registrar Professor Iqbal Parvaiz today asserted that the present regime will not spare anybody involved in the said scam if found involved and all alleged scams would be vigorously perused until there logical conclusions.
He added no official concerned has brought the information about the alleged scams into the knowledge of present regime. Present regime has adopted National Guidelines of digital mode of payments and it is unfortunate that many unsavory things have happened in the past in the university.
“It is heartening that BGSBU is now making significant strides to scale new heights of academic excellence and several new projects are underway under the supervision and guidelines of Professor Javed Mussarat, VC,” he added.
It is pertinent to mention that during detailed investigation of CD-II account after ‘Scholarship Scam’, ‘Security Refund Scam’ was also detected but to save the skins of the involved senior officials of the university, the scam couldn’t see the light of the day. The scam came to light when few ex-students couldn’t get their security refunded despite several rounds of the university and approached the concerned officials.
