“As per the statement of woman, there was no attempt of braid chopping. It just happened that while she was working in field, she saw some unknown person passing through the field, from some 20 to 25 meters away from her upon which she made a hue and cry for help and ran towards nearby house of her brother with the illusion that the unknown person might be a braid chopper. The woman was not chased by the unknown suspect at all. The hue and cry due to fear psychosis created a chaos and confusion among the nearby people. The woman was later discharged from SDH Ganderbal to her home,” the spokesman said.
