Mohd Akram lifts Showa dangal -2013 title
JAMMU, Mohd Akram lifted the “22nd Annual Showa Kesari Dangal title 2013”.

It was organized at Showa in Reasi by Showa Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.

In the said dangal 51 bouts were played wherein only J&K State wrestlers hailing from Doda, Udhampur, Reasi, Jammu, Kathua, Samba and J&K Police participated. In this dangal only Wrestlers of J&K State invited , no wrestler from outside the State were invited for the said dangal.

The first main bout was fought between Mohd, Akram of Chouadi Jammu and Bagga of Kot Bhalwal winner Mohd Akram who was awarded cash prize of Rs 3,000 while runner–up wrestler Bagga got Rs 2,000 .

BSP State General secretary and senior vice President Hotel and Restaurant Association Katra Shri Rakesh Wazir was the chief guest in the occasion who gave away cash prizes to the winners and runner-up Wrestlers. President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association and Member J&K State Sports Council Shiv Kumar Sharma presided over the function.

The second main bout was played between Murad Ali of Domana and Mohd. Nisar of Doda. This bout was won by Murad Ali. The third bout was played between Lallu of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu and Gamma of Doda. This bout won by Lallu. The fourth bout was won by Mohd Sadiq of Domana who defeated Pritam of Dhar Dalocha. The fifth bout was went to Shetu of Akhnoor who defeated Javed Khan of Nargada and sixth bout was won by Mohd. Asaf of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu who defeated Devinder of Domana.

The details :Niaz Ali of Raipur beat Sujjat of Domana, Sethi of Domana beat Jakker of Doda, s Prem Verma of Jhiri beat Dinu of Kathua, Murad Ali of Domana beat Rahul of R.S Pura, Mohd Sadiq of Domana beat Deepu of R.S Pura and Amir Khan of Nargada beat Vijay of Bai Bajalta jammu. No bout ended in adraw.
