BSF Inter-Frontier Sports competitions-2017 commences

JAMMU, Sep 12: Border Security Force Jammu Frontier is hosting the prestigious Inter Frontier Competitions of Wrestling-Boxing-Weight Lifting and Kabaddi 2017.
Total 1220 Sportsman of all Frontiers of Border Security Force, including many national level players, and International player Ravinder Singh (Boxing), Rambir Singh (Kabaddi ), Jaspal Singh (Kabaddi), Krishan Kumar (Wrestling) and Pawan Kumar ( Wrestling) are participating in these Competitions.
K N Chaubey, ADG BSF Western Command was chief Guest in the opening ceremony held at Hargobind Bhatnagar Stadium, BSF Paloura Campus, Jammu.
As an elite Force, BSF lays extra stress on games and competitions of different disciplines as a regular part of its day-to day functioning. Inter Frontier Sports Competitions are organized as Force level sports tournaments where potential young talents are selected to be put through intensive coaching at respective places of concentration under seasoned Coaches. These competitions provide a healthy platform for BSF sportsmen to exhibit their rare talent and skills to be further groomed for National & International championships.
Ram Awtar, IG, BSF Jammu Frontier accentuated that quality performances are expected in this BSF Inter-Frontier Sports Competitions-2017 (Wrestling-Boxing-Weight Lifting and Kabaddi) and the players selected out of this Competition will certainly make a mark in the National and International Competitions in the coming years.
