Hospital like 5 star hotels

Dear Editor,
Refer to Opinion “Poor healthcare makes India unhappy” (KT September 1, 2017).
The real picture of Government hospitals is better known to public. The administration must improve with accountability and responsibility in State run hospitals and on all other departments. Private hospitals provide five-star facilities naturally charging seven-star expenses. Can poor and middle class even think of such costly medical care? Government hospitals do provide free primary and second healthcare, but they are overcrowded and ill-equipped, thus prompting many people who can afford to opt for private hospitals. The number of Government hospitals must multiply in every city/ town and in villages to serve the poor.
