JKIANS brought laurels in Inter-District football tourney

JAMMU, Sep 8: JK Public School students brought laurels to the school by participating in the Divisional level Inter-District football tournament 2017.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Poonch. JKIANS participated in all the three categories; under 14, under 17 and under 19. Samarth Gourang of class 8B and Ritinpal Singh of 7E participated in the U-14 category wherein Rumman Chak of 10E participated in the U-17 category.
He was the top scorer of the tournament and was awarded the ‘Best Player of the Tournament'. In the U-19 category, Jainesh Singh of 11C participated with full vigour. All the players played in the respective teams with full enthusiasm leading their teams to win. Under-14 & 19 teams won the District matches Whereas Under-19 team won the District level matches with 3rd position.
The School management, Principal SK Singh and Vice-Principal Puneet Kour congratulated the participants and wished them luck for future endeavours.
