J&K Police Sports Festival concludes at Sopore

SRINAGAR, Sep 8: Sopore Sports Festival organized by the J&K Police was concluded at Khushall Matto Stadium Tulibal, Sopore.

DIG CRPF North Kashmir Rajesh Kumar Yadav was the chief guest at Sopore and DC Pulwama GM Dar accompanied by SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam was the Chief Guest at Pulwama.

Games including Cricket, Volleyball, Carrom, Kho-Kho, Football, Kabaddi, short put, Tug of war, karate, Race 200/100mtrs, Javelin Throw and Discuss Throw were played in these festivals.

On the closing ceremonies, the chief guests distributed cash prizes and trophies among the winner ups and runners up teams at both the places.

In Sopore, ADC Sopore Khurshid Ahmad Shah, SSP Sopore Harmeet Singh Mehta, CO 22/RR, CO 32/RR, CO 177 CRPF, CO 179 CRPF, SDPO Sopore, SDPO Rafiabad, DySP DAR, Dysp Sopore, SHO Sopore, other officers and officials of police were present on the occasion.

In Pulwama, commandants of 183 Bn, 182 Bn CRPF, Addl. SP Pulwama Chandan Kohli, DySP DAR Devender Singh, DySP Zaheer Abass were present on the closing ceremony. Besides senior citizens including parents and teachers of the participating students graced the occasion.
