ICC chairman Shashank Manohar visits Zimbabwe

COLOMBO Aug 8: The ICC (International Cricket Council) chairman Shashank Manohar (with his wife Varsha) will be one a 5-day visit to Zimbabwe, it is learnt here.
The news was confirmed by the Zimbabwe Cricket official Faisal Hasnain.
Speaking exclusively from Harare, he said, "the ICC chief is coming to see the game being played here at the grass-root level. This is his general purpose visit. He has been visiting many cricket-playing countries".
"During his visit to this country, he has a plan to meet our two vice presidents and the sport minister".
"He will also meet our Zimbabwe Cricket chief (Tavengwa Mukuhlani) and few other officials of the board", he further added.
About hosting the bilateral series in Zimbabwe, the official said, "we are hosting the two Tests against West Indies in October this year".
