Pak woman’s body to be deported today

RAJOURI, June 20: The body of Pakistani woman who died in Rajouri where she came to meet her relatives on cross-LoC permit, was today sent to Poonch for deportation it to native place tomorrow.
The body is likely to be handed over to Pakistan authorities on Friday at Chakan-da-Bagh Cross LoC point.
Police said Zainob Bibi wife of Mohammad Sharief resident of Kashmir town, Gujjaranwala (Pakistan) came to Ghamir Mughlan (Rajouri) to meet her relatives on May 20 last on permit number 46891.
She crossed the border from Uri in Kashmir valley and was staying in the house of her relative Mohammad Mughal. On Wednesday, she was admitted in the District Hospital with a complaint of diarrhea and after initial treatment was referred to GMC hospital at Jammu.
She died late in the evening and family members approached Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri for the permission to send the body back from Chakan-da-Bagh cross LoC point in Poonch district.
After DDC’s permission and legal formalities body was taken to Poonch in the evening today.
