Modi and Muslims

Except for sharing few alphabets Modi and Muslims really don't share a comraderie worth glorifying. Infact, this erosion has a strong background but the journey of 'prime minister Modi' hasn't been comforting either for them.
The baggage he carried as the chief minister of Gujarat has been carefully maintained by his aides as it still provides the political provident. Sadly, for the minorities they haven't been able to counter a propaganda which negates their worth as Indians and lack of capable leadership has made the things worst for them.
While the Muslim community struggles with their economic and social backwardness they are being labelled as a community which has been appeased! This is ironical as they have been termed time and time again by various committees as to be on the lowest rung of the Indian society. If this is the way a community is appeased then God save us from the word appeasement.
We can't afford to alienate one section of our society and turn the other against it. This politics of hate is only going to hurt our cause as Indians. Diversity has been our USP which makes us varied and beautiful.
Democracy and secularism have been our shining jewels which gave an undertaking of our worth as a potential player in the world community. But the political bugle of hate and misgivings will harm the real spirit of nationalism. False realm of imposed nationalism is only trying to hoodwink the underlying undertones which have a capacity to dismantle our social structure beyond repairs.
Nationalism can't hinge on what one eats or speaks. It is connected with the well-being of a nation where everyone gets a freedom to debate and discuss and evolve. Justifying violence in the garb of religious morality is only the beginning of our end. What keeps us throbbing as a nation is our capacity to adapt and celebrate the uniqueness of each other's culture. I hope the true spirit of nationalism finds its way amongst the maze of man-made barriers.
We all are bounded in our quest for a better life-with adequate food, water, shelter, medical and educational facilities and should not be blinded with hate towards each other. This is only a façade to cover up the loop holes in our system and not seek redressal from our representatives at the helm of our affairs.
