JKFFA pays tributes to martyrs, Amarnath pilgrims

JAMMU, Jul 19: Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA) today organized a programme at Dogra Shaurya Sthamb, Amphalla to pay tributes to the martyrs of security forces who have laid down their lives in the line of duty while protecting motherland in terror infested Jammu and Kashmir and Shri Amarnath pilgrims who lost their lives in terror attack and accident.
The programme was organised under the chairmanship of JKFFA President Ved Gandotra which was graced by S Gajan Singh Khajuria as the chief guest.
“We the people of Jammu and Kashmir salute security force personnel for their bravery as they fought with strong will for the cause of our nation,” Gandotra said while paying tributes to them.
The members appealed to the people to shun path of violence and struggle for maintaining integrity and sovereignty of the nation.
A two-minute silence was also observed in the memory of all those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of nation as also for Shri Amarnath pilgrims.
Those who attended the function include State President, Shri Ram Sena. Rajiv Mahajan, Prabhat Kapahi, Vinod Sahani, Karnail Singh, Sushil Verma and others.
