Dushyant re-elected as president of wresting body

JAMMU, July 17 : Jammu and Kashmir Wrestling Association has retained Dushyant Sharma as president of the Association for the next term of four years in an election meeting held here on Sunday.
Ajay Vaid has been retained to the post of general secretary while Raju Sharma has been treasurer of the Association by the members. Earlier, the election held under the supervision of Wrestling Federation of India, V N Prasood were present as observers.
Dushant Sharma assured the members and other visiting guests that efforts would made to improve the game of wrestling in J&K. Sharma asked president of the Wrestling Federation to allot the 2018 Senior Nationals to J&K. He promised that J&K Wrestling Association shall left no stone unturned to promote the game by focusing more on young talent. The Association shall collaborate with the J&K State Sports Council and seek help from Wrestling Federation in improving and adding to the existing infrastructure. The vote of thanks was extended by Vijay Pahalwan.
