New United wins by 11 runs in KCSC Cup

JAMMU, July 14: New United Cricket Club registered an 11 runs win against Danny Cricket Club (DCC) in the ongoing KC Sports Club (KCSC) Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at KC Public School (KCPS) ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, United Club set a target of 107 runs. Surinder and Vinod were highest scorers with 35 and 18 runs in their respective accounts while Sunny added 10 runs to the total. From DCC, Harinder Pal claimed three wickets while Munish took two.
In reply, DCC could not reach the required total and the whole side bowled out for 95 runs in 17.1 overs. Ashok and Manpreet were only batsmen to score in double figure with 34 and 12 runs in thier respective accounts.
From New United, Sunil Dhar and Vishal bowled well taking away three wickets each while Rohit secured two.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik, Madan Lal as umpires while Vinod Kandyara was scorer.
