Abdul Salam Reshi appointed as VC SHDB

JAMMU, May 12: State government today appointed Abdul Salam Reshi as Vice Chairperson of the State Horticulture Development Board (SHDB).
In modification of Govt Order number 114-GAD of 2017 dated January 27, 2017 and in suppression of Government order number 334-GAD of 2017 dated March 14, 2017, government has appointed Abdul Salam Reshi as Vice Chairperson of the State Horticulture Development Board.
The order further stated that Abdul Salam Reshi , Vice Chairperson, State Horticulture Development Board shall be entitled to the perks and privileges such as consolidated amount of Rs 80,000 per month as salary, provided Transport facility from J&K Motor Garages and Residential accommodation from Estates Deptt.
Prior to this, the Line Department shall be the Feeding Deptt for the purpose of funds, staff and other facilities and the office of the Vice Chairperson shall be located outside the Secretariat.
