Showey Goswami wins silver medal in PNB Metlife NZ Badminton C’ship

JAMMU, Apr 19: Showey Goswami daughter of Raman Goswami shined in the U-9 and 11 yrs girls singles PNB Metlife North Zone Badminton championship recently held at Chandigarh.
Young upcoming Showey Goswami reached final and has won silver medal in U-8 yrs age competitions while remained quarterfinalist in the Under-11 yrs age group in the competition.
Upcoming shuttler Showey Goswami is being coached by Sports Authority of India coach Sat Paul Sharma at RCC Centre Indoor Complex, MA stadium. He along with the members of the association have congratulated Showey Goswami for her excellent performance in the championship.
It is pertinent to mention here that her brother Aesh Goswami is also an upcoming shuttler having won state Badminton title in U-13 yrs and represented state in Sub Junior national championships in 2015 & 16.
