Army organises Golf Tournament at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Apr 16: The Army Commander’s Invitational Golf Championship 2017 was organised at Udhampur on 15 and 16 April 2017. The tournament was conducted by the Army to enhance the existing civil-military association in the state of J&K and also to promote informal interaction with people from various walks of life. Key contestants included players from the Sher-e-Kashmir Golf Club, Jammu Golf Association and the Army. The Honourable Governor of J&K took out time from his busy schedule and joined other 80 competitors in the event in which the Army team emerged winners. Honourable Governor J&K His Excellency Mr NN Vohra gave away prizes to the winners.
