India stands totally exposed on issue of terror financing: Pak

KARACHI, Apr 15 (Agencies): Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakariya has said that India stands totally exposed on the issue of terror financing and perpetrating subversive acts in Pakistan. He said India has been blowing the trumpet on the issue of terrorism since long but the fact is that the country's intelligence agency itself is involved in terrorism.
He also referred to the incidents in occupied Kashmir as well as the one taken on the Indian soil including Samjhota Express. He said Kulbushan Yadav was an agent of RAW and serving officer of Indian Navy. The agent has been awarded death sentence after due judicial process.
US lauds Pakistan's efforts in fighting terrorism-government is committed to weed out terrorism from the country with the support of nation-Pakistan believes in a peaceful neighborhood.
United States has lauded the role of Pakistan in elimination of terrorism from the country. In a telephonic conversation with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Friday, US National Security Advisor Lieutenant General Herbert Raymond McMaster said that Pakistan has played a vital role to ensure peace and stability in the country and region. Pakistan has made significant efforts to confront terrorism and terrorist organizations on its own soil.
Pakistan and India need to interact with each other to resolve bilateral disputes including Kashmir issue: Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security Nasser Khan Janjua.
He was addressing members of Pakistan Institute of International Affairs on National Security Perspective in Pakistan in Karachi. He said we are acting as a frontline state in war against terrorism but unfortunately the world fails to acknowledge the role of Pakistan. The understanding would soon prevail within India that for how long it could remain the enemy of Pakistan.
US to send dozens more troops to Somalia
The US is sending "dozens" of additional troops to Somalia to train and equip the Somali National Army and the forces participating in the African Union Mission in Somalia there. A US military official said that the new contingent would consist of about 40 soldiers.

Syrian government is to restore control in two towns evacuated by opposition and rebel fighters. According to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, government troops and allied forces have already entered Madaya, one of the opposition-held towns evacuated of rebels.
North Korea hits out at Donald Trump and vows ‘thermonuclear war’
North Korea has warned the United States to end its military hysteria or face retaliation. A spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army said the provocative moves of the US in the political, economic and military fields against Pyongyang will thoroughly be foiled.
