HSS Ramban wins Kabaddi, Volleyball tourney

RAMBAN, Mar 23: As a Part of Civic Action Programme, Kabaddi and Volleyball tournament organized by IRP 9th Battalion at Government Hr Secondary School Ramban concluded today.
The tournament was organised under the supervision of Commandant IRP 9th Battalion, Abrar Ahmed Choudhary and assisted by Dy, Commandant, Amit Bhasin was the chief guest on the concluding day.
The Tournament was organized by 9th Battalion Indian reserve police (IRP) Maitra . A total of 8 teams from the district participated in the Tournament.
The final Volleyball match of the Tournament, played between High Sec Schol Ramban (A) and High Sec School Ramban (B) and , the match was won by HSS Ramban (B) by 3-2.
In Kabaddi, final match was played between HSS Ramban (C)and HSS Ramban (A), in which He Sec.School (C) emerged as winners.
Dy, Commandant, Amit Bhasin , who was the chief guest on the occasion awarded trophies to winner and runner-up teams. Besides, sports kits were distributed among the players of both the winner and runner-up teams
A large number of locals witnessed the matches and highly appreciated such efforts of IRP Ramban which strengthen the Security forces -public relations and hoped that such events will continue to be organised in future.
Speaking on the occasion, Dy, Commandant, Amit Bhasin thanked all the officers, participating players and general public for their cooperation for smooth and successful completion of the event.
On the occasion the officer were present as Astt , Commandant Suresh Chib , Dy,SP Sukhdeve , CPO Ramban KS Bandral and Raj Singh Raju.
