Congress slams govt over stranded passengers

JAMMU, Mar 14: State General Secretary J&K Pradesh Youth Congress and executive member JKPCC Sheikh Aamir Rasool today slammed the government for failing to airlift the stranded passengers at Jammu and Chanderkot who are stuck due to heavy landslides on national highway.

He said thousands of Kashmir Valley bound passengers are stranded at General Bus Stand Jammu and were facing immense hardships as passengers are mainly patients ,students and labours and are running short of money ,food and are spending nights under open sky as Government has so far failed to provide any succour to them .

Peerbagh Murder case: Courts reserves orders on charges
SRINAGAR, Mar 14: A Budgam court today reserved its orders on framing of charges against the accused in Peerbagh murder case in which the body of Owais Bashir Malik, a student was found near a railway track at Humhama in January 2016. Sources in the court said that the as the matter came up for hearing today, the court heard and recorded final arguments on framing of charges and reserved its orders till March 20.
