Football Tourny concludes in Ramban

RAMBAN, Feb 24: Three day long Football Tournament organized by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) concluded at District Police Line (DPL), here.
District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban Mohammad Aijaz was the chief guest on the occasion whereas 2nd in Command Priyavert Sharma, 2nd in Command (Medical Officer) Dr Naresh Kumar, Deputy Commandant Kasturi Lal, Assistant Commandant P Chakwa, Jitendra Kumar, Suresh Grewal were also present during the function.
Speaking during the function Priyaveet Sharma welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries and throw light on the tournament being organised by SSB.
DDC appreciated the efforts of SSB and called this tournament as a major step in giving the exposure and a platform to local teams and channelizing the energy of youth in positive direction.
On the first day the first match was conducted between Hill Star Kanga and FC Gandoh in which FC Gandoh trounced Hill Star by 2-1.
The second match was played between Eleven Super Star Dharamkund and FC Khelani which was won by Eleven Super Star by 3-2 whereas the final match was won by Team Ramban by 5-0. The winner team will not compete at inter district level competition at Jammu on February 28.
