Truth Advisors..!

They were a bunch of innocent people who had congregated this Sunday morning. "We would like to pass a resolution," said the treasurer of the group, "you see we need to sell this property and buy another one, so we need the consent of everybody here!"
What a momentous decision! A property worth crores was about to be sold and the decision lay in the hands of a mere twenty or so people!
Since I was a new member of the group I had decided I would not lend my thoughts or my voice till I got to know the people better! But the journalist in me never is able to keep quiet and I blurted out, "what is the resolution?"
"The Chartered Accountant will word that out!" he said pleasantly though I could see him frowning inside.
"I' m not talking of the technical jargon," I said easily, "I would like to know what you have resolved to do! Will you be coming back to us to choose the property or will the sale and buying of the new property be handled by just you?"
"We trust each other," said the treasurer and the chartered accountant will handle it.
I knew their CA. I knew he was in charge of hundreds of religious trusts and I knew he had the power and capacity to make black look white and vice versa. I felt sad for these innocent people, not because they would lose their property, I am sure they won't but that now they would traverse into the realm of the truth being stretched like a rubber band till it included all the lies that could be packed into a sardine can.
How we innocents trust these advisors. We know the advice they offer, even the assistance they give in pleading our case before government authorities is all wrong, but we close our eyes and ears because they have helped us get away legally.
By now we know that just because it has been signed by an officer it does not mean it is the truth; it only means you had a clever CA, a clever lawyer.
These men and women are criminals because more than breaking the law they aid good people to put on the robes of corruption just by paying their bill.
It is time you studied what you sign, and not trust these truth advisors, because it is not the law of the land you are answerable to, but to a God above..!
