8 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, May 30: Eight persons including three minors were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
During the intervening night of 28/29.05.2013, a Maruti Van bearing registration number JK03B/4808 driven by Suhail Ahmad Haji resident of Cheeni Chowk, Anantnag on way from Bona Dailgam to Anantnag hit and injured Abdul Salam Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Bona Dailgam at Moominabad near Petrol Pump, Anantnag, in the jurisdiction of police station Anantnag. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/2318 collided with another Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01K/2313 near Government Higher Secondary, School, Sogam, Kupwara, resulting in injuries to Syed Ghulam Jeelani, age 50 years, son of Syed Wali Mohammad resident of Cheri Kote, Lolab, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05C/3586 driven by Mushtaq Ahmad Kari resident of Choker Pattan hit another Motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AN/6708 at Kunzar market, Baramulla, in the jurisdiction of police station Kunzer, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Mohammad Ashraf Rather, age 20 years, son of Abdul Ahad resident of Bonshora Hardishora, Kunzar. The injured was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05A/8237 hit and injured an 08 years girl Nighat Irshad daughter of Irshad Ahmad Mir resident of Thakanpur, Balhama at Balhama main road in the jurisdiction of police station Panzla, Sopore. The injured was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tanker bearing registration number JK03/2320 driven by Mangta Ram resident of Lambray Rajouri on way from Markoot to Dawar Gurez met with an accident near police station Gurez, Bandipora, resulting in injuries to the tanker driver. The injured was shifted to Public Health Centre Gurez for treatment.
A Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK01N/8771 driven by Fayaz Ahmad Bhat resident of Panzin skidded off the road near village Thoun, Ganderbal, in the jurisdiction of police station Kangan and fell into the power canal, resulting in injuries to the driver of the vehicle and a minor boy Misbah, age about 06 years, son of Bashir Ahmad Khan resident of Thoun Kangan. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
An unidentified Tipper hit and injured an 08 years old girl Aymah Jan daughter of Nazir Ahmad resident of Reshipora Ganderbal near Town Hall, Ganderbal. The injured was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar, for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
