Khan leads Indian team at Thimpu SAARC meet

THIMPU (Bhutan); May 24: A 3-day conference of SAARC chief justices and 12th conference of SAARC Law commenced here today.
The 15-member Indian delegation comprising judges, lawyers and law teachers is headed by former chief justice of J&K, Justice BA Khan. The conference will discuss and deliberate upon availability of constitutional guarantees to children in SAARC countries and challenges in its enforcement.
SAARC Law is an association of judges and lawyers formed in 1990 to bring together lawmen in the region for promotion of understanding and exchange of information on legal matters in the region.
