Pak intruder killed in Samba

JAMMU, Apr 30: A Pakistani intruder was killed in firing by Border Security Force (BSF) when he was trying to enter into Indian territory from across the border in Basantar belt of Samba district today.
At around 9 AM, alert BSF troops saw an intruder entering into Indian territory from Pakistani side along the International Border in Chillayari Border Out Post (BoP) of Samba district, a senior BSF officer said, adding, the troops challenged him and opened-fire.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba said that today at about 08:50 AM, a Pakistani intruder wearing dark green clothes crossed the International Border at Border Pillar number 189 near BoP Chillayari of BSF, came about 20 meters inside the Indian territory and reached near the fence. Inspite of warning, he did not stop and was fired by BSF jawan of 9th Battalion BSF and got killed.
On his personal search, 3 Identity Cards of Pakistani Intruder, perusal of which indicates his identity as Amanat Ali (Date of Birth January 26, 1983)(age about 32 years) son of Rasheed Ahmed of Sarya Post Office Rambri, Shakargarh district Narowal Pakistan, working in Sublime Soccer Company at Daska Road, Sialkot as Stitcher. One Identity Card of his wife which indicates the name of his wife as Assia Parveen, 01 Nokia Mobile with SIM and Memory Card, 04 Pakistani currency notes worth Rs 25 (3 currency notes each of Rs 5 out of which 1 Note is half and 1 currency note of Rs 10) and a coin, 10 small slips containing contact numbers/addresses, a school admission form, 23 stitching needles, one Pocket diary and 2 packets of Cigarette were recovered from his possession.
SSP said that the body of said Pakistani intruder which was retrieved by BSF handed over to police for further course of action. The postmortem of the body was got conducted at District Hospital Samba and the body is kept at mortuary so that matter will again be taken up with Pakistani Rangers by BSF tomorrow for handing over to them.
A case FIR number 29 of 2015 under section 14 Foreigners Act, section 3(3) EIIPA has been registered at Police Station Ghagwal for further investigation.
