Budha Amarnathji yatra arrangements reviewed

RAJOURI, July 1: A meeting of district officers and Baba Budha Amarnath Sawagat Samiti was convened today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Saugat Biswas to finalize the arrangements for smooth conduct of Baba Budha Amarnath Yatra 2012 at Mandi (Poonch) commencing from July 19, 2012. The representatives from Army and GREF also participated.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure necessary facilities like water supply, medicare, ration, power supply, cleaniliness of venue, construction of temporary sheds for langer and storage of ration, maintenance of road and toilet facilities etc.
Chief Executive Officer, Rajouri Development Authority Subash Sharma has been appointed as Nodal Officer for the yatra while Tehsildar Rajouri and Dy SP (Hqr) Rajouri will assist the Nodal Officer for smooth conduct of the yatra. Besides, two control rooms will be set up which will function round the clock at Sunderbani and Rajouri with telephone Nos. 01960-234423 and 01962-263323.
