Sukha of Rajasthan lifts 60th Moori Kesari- 2015 title

JAMMU, Mar 23: Sukha of Rajasthan lifted 60th Moori Kesari 2015 title by defeating Wrestler Mohit Sharma of Harayana in a very tough fight in Reasi.
Dangal was organized by Peer Baba Dangal Committee Moori in association with J&K Indian style wrestling Association under the overall supervision of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma and Sarpanch Romesh Chander.
DSP Katra Ravel Choudhary was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed Cash prizes among the winner and runner-up Wrestlers. Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India Shiv Kumar Sharma presided over the function. Retd. SP Prithvi Raj Sharma and District Horticulture officer Virender Sharma were the guests of honour. Sarpanch Mohd. Sadiq and General Secretary Reasi District Indian Style Wrestling Association Naresh Kumar were also present on the occasion.
D.SP Katra Ravel Choudhary and Shiv Kumar Sharma gave Rs 13,000 as cash prize money to the winner of Ist malli Pahelwan Sukha while Rs 8,000 was given to runner-up Wrestler Mohit Sharma by Sarpanch Romesh Chander & Naresh Kumar .
In all 72 bouts were played in the one day long dangal. The second main bout was fought between Wrestler Amrit Paul Singh of Goal Bagh Stadium Amritsar in Punjab versus Gurmail of B.S.F Chandigarh of Harayana. This bout was won by Amrit Paul Singh. Cash paize Rs 7,000 was given to winner Amrit Paul Singh while Rs 6,000 was given to runner-up Gurmail.
Third bout was won by Basant of Amritsar who defeated Farooq of Sarore, Jammu, Cash prize of Rs 7,000 was given to winner Wrestler Basant while Rs 6,000 was given to runner-up Wrestler Farooq. Fourth bout was won br Umesh of Chandigarh who defeated Ajay Sharma of Landen Power House Udhampur and 5th bout was won by Roshan Lal of Muthi Jammu of J&K Police who defeated Captain of Haryana.
Peer Baba Dangal Committee members and technical officials who helped for conduct of this Vishal Dangal in a very fine way were Badri Nath, Sarpanch Romesh Chander (President), Om Parkash, Mohan Singh, Sukhdev Sharma, Bodh Raj, Parsotam Sharma, Birbal Sharma, Chuni Lal, Rajinder Kumar, Virender Kumar, Sharma, Naresh Kumar , Vijay Singh , Mohd. Fareed, Deepak Wazir, Lehar Singh, Tulinder Kumar, Raj Singh, Murli Dhar and Om Parkash Sharma.
In other bouts Nissar of Doda beat Babba of Kot Bhawal, Murad Ali of Domana beat Chand of Amritsar, Jakker of Sarore beat Sumit of Harayana, Mohd. Akram of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu beat Fijja of Billawar, Daler Khan of J&K Police of Nargada beat Jasvir Fougi of Harayana, Gopal Sharma of Jindrah beat Billa of Domana Akhara, Vijay of Bai Bajalta beat Billu of Kot Bhawal Jammu, Parhald Singh of Kalakot, Rajouri beat Jagga of Amritsar, Dinnu of Jammu beat chand of Amritsar, Rajesh Sharma of J&K Police of Jindrah beat Rohit of Amritsar, Arif of Roun Domail beat Jamat Ali of Jagati, Salman of Chopra shop beat Hossiar Singh of Mahore(Reasi), Kuldip Singh of Reasi beat Anil of Tarra, Liket Ali of Panthal beat Majid of Udhampur and Subam of Domana Akhara beat Shamsher Singh of Reasi.
Best Wrestler of dangal was Rajesh Sharma of J&K Police of Jindarh, he was awarded with cash prize of Rs 500 along with “Mata Ki Chunni”.
Shiv Kumar Sharma appreciated the role of Commandant CRPF, 6th BN, Shri Sunil Kumar and D.SP Ravel Choudhary for their support for organizing the traditional Dangal which will go a long way in preserving the traditional game and spirit sports.
