Kajal Singh of MHAC wins 200 mts gold in U-17

JAMMU, May 17: Kajal Singh of MHAC Nagbani clinched the 200 meters gold in under-17 category in the two-day boys’ inter-school athletics meet of Jammu district held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at BSF Stadium, here today.
Second place in this event went to Ajay Singh of KC International School while Imran Farooq of JK Public School remained third.
Likewise the opening day of the competition yesterday, athletes from MHAC Nagbani continued their winning spree making their presence felt in almost all the field and track events of under-17 and under-14 categories today.
Meanwhile, to personally see the competition and also to encourage the young athletes, Deputy Director, DYSS, Ved Parkash Sharma today visited BSF Stadium.
