KVS holds orientation programme

JAMMU, Apr 4: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Jammu Region today organized a two days Orientation Programme for Master Trainers on e-Comprehensive Teaching Learning Tool (e- CTLT) for Teachers of KVS Jammu Region. AVLJ Rao, Deputy Commissioner Inaugurated the programmme in the Auditorium of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
In all, fifty four teachers from the KVs of Jammu Region of KVS and hailing from parts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and J&K State, are participating in this programme.
T R Choudhary, Principal K V No.1, Jammu welcomed the chief guest by presenting flower bouquet. The ceremonial lamp was lit by the chief guest. A S Gill, Assistant Commissioner presented key note and highlighted the aims & objectives of this programme. Diggraj Meena, Assistant Commissioner was present on this occasion.
In his address, AVLJ Rao said that Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an international level organization imparting quality education in the country and abroad. He emphasized that e-CTLT programme will enable the teachers and students to share their knowledge through internet. He added that KVS is a pace setter in the field of education. It has started the e-CTLT programme to make teachers, parents and student add information and share it even while sitting at their homes. Planning by the teachers can be visited by others and the same can be supervised by the administrative authorities at different levels.
The practical sessions for log in and starting accounts, uploading and sharing by others through internet were conducted by the participants. Six Resource Persons, including Sandesh Kumar Bhat, National Coordinator, e-CTLT National Core Committee of KVS(HQ) and TGT Mathematics at KV No.1, Jammu, are conducting the programme.
