Kargil DC shifted, 165 posts created in PDD

SRINAGAR, Oct 10: The state cabinet today accorded sanction to the creation of 165 posts in different categories in Power Development Department (PDD) including one post of engineer-in-chief in the pay band and grade pay 37400-67000+8900.
An official spokesman said the 165 posts in different categories have been created by corresponding reduction of 67 posts including 10 posts of assistant executive engineers (electrical), and 57 posts of junior engineer (electrical) for restructuring and unbundling of PDD. With this arrangement, the sanctioned strength of the post of chief engineers has increased from seven to eight, superintendent engineers from 21 to 43 and of executive engineers from 86 to 119.
The cabinet also approved transfer and posting of some officers.
Deputy commissioner, Kargil, M Raju has been asked to report to general administrative department for his further posting.
Dilshada Khan has been transferred and posted as member J&K Service Selection Board.
Chief executive officer JAKEGA Fida Hussain has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner Kargil.
