Manohar reviews basic amenities in Billawar

KATHUA, June 20: Minister of State for Cooperatives, Finance and Planning Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today reviewed provision of basic amenities in Billawar Tehsil at a Tehsil level officers meeting.
Dr Sharma exhorted upon the officers of PHE, PDD and Irrigation to take steps to ensure better services to the people amid hot weather conditions.. Dr Sharma said standby provisions for water and power supply should be made to reduce the suffering of the people to some extent.
Dr Manohar Lal Sharma called upon the officers to establish control room so that people could contact authorities in case of any problem regarding water and power supply. He also passed instructions to AEE PHE for the repair of Pallan Dugwell which was not functioning properly . He also directed them to Speed up the repair work of Bathar Water Scheme.
Later Dr Sharma also met deputation from Rampur and Billawar and listened to their problems which were related to drinking water and power supply. He directed the officers to do needful to redress the problems of the people.SDM Billawar, Vikas Gupta, Tehsildar, (Territorial Settlement), AEE’s of PHE, PDD, STD and Irrigation departments were present in the meeting
