People protest against brutal killing of youth

DODA, Aug 24: To lodge their protest against the alleged brutal killing of Mushtaq Ahmed by some VDC members along with some STF personnel, the people of Bhalessa village held a massive protest here today.
On Tuesday, a person identified as Mushtaq Ahemd son of Choudhary Miskeen Ali of village Tanesa Dhadkaie was allegedly killed by some VDC members and STF personnel.
In this regard an FIR NO.94U/S302 has been lodged in police station Gandoh as stated by G N Mir, SHO Gandoh.
When contacted, ASP Bhaderwah, Roop Lal stated that three suspects namely Nitish Kumar, Girdhari Lal and Sanjay Kumar have been arrested by police in this regard.
The protestors demanded exemplary punishment for the persons involved in the murder and also urged upon the administration to disarm the VDC persons in the village as well as the entire Doda town.
Meanwhile, a dozen people were on protest, demanding the release of arrested suspects.
Moreover, a significant role is being played by prominent citizens of Muslim community in general and especially by Alhaj Ghulam Kadir Ganipuri for maintaining the peace and harmony in the entire region.
