Indian team announced for Asian Youth volley ball

JAMMU, Oct 7: The Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) today announced the Indian youth boys’ volleyball team for the 9th Asian Youth Boys Volleyball Championship to be held at Tehran in Iran from October 24 to November one.
The team is presently attending coaching camp at Sri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy Indoor Stadium, Yusufguda, Hyderabad under the guidance of Andhra Pradesh Volleyball Association. The team will be leaving Hyderabad on October 21 for the venue.
The Team: Mohan (Haryana), N Shravan (Karnataka), A Sandeep (Andhra Pradesh), Ranveer (Punjab-Captain), Sandeep Kumar (Haryana), Shivendra Vikram Singh (UP), Suraj G Naik (Karnataka), Atul Kumar Singh (UP), KS Ragul Raj (Tamilnadu), Prashant Kumar Saroha (UP), P Prashanth (Tamilnadu), DNK Venkatesh (Andhra Pradesh)
Officials: Head Coach, Dr.Abhimanyu Singh (UP). Assistant Coach, KV Ramana Rao (SAI). Trainer, ST Harilal (Kerala). Manager, V Ravikanth Reddy (Arjuna Awardee and secretary, AP Volleyball Association). Referee, Anjali Sardesai (Maharashtra).
Meanwhile, according to reports reaching here, Indian youth girls will be leaving Aurangabad on October nine for the 9th Asian Youth Girls Volleyball Championship to be held in Chengdu in China.
