SRINAGAR, Nov 17: JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik today said peace, stability and prosperity in Indian sub-continent is impossible without the solution of Kashmir issue.
Addressing a public meeting at Watergam in Rafiabad, he said those hoping peace without a solution of Kashmir issue are day dreaming.
“Jammu Kashmir issue is a human problem and related to millions of human and should be resolved in accordance with the human and civilized attitude,” he said.
Malik stated that anybody who thinks that Kashmiris have given up or are not with freedom cause should come here and see the enthusiasm and passion of people.
“The people here do not demand any benefits, incentives or financial advantages. They are only for the just cause of freedom and world sooner or later will have to respect this passion of the people of Jammu Kashmir. People of Jammu Kashmir are striving peacefully for their birth right,” JKLF chairman said.
He added that the people are the custodians of the sacrifices of those, who laid down their lives for the movement. “These people have sacrificed and are still sacrificing their lives and wealth for this just cause. This peaceful struggle is being reciprocated by state violence by India. At the persuasion of the international community Kashmiris made a historical transition from violence to non violence,” JKLF chairman said.
“We continued walking on this path despite brutal force, torture, oppression and suppression from India. What is more agonizing is the criminal silence of the international community who are watching this oppression on peaceful struggle of Kashmiris,” added Malik.
He lashed out at mainstream parties for their double standards. They exploit the innocent people and they are part of the state suppression. He criticized their role during the hanging of Mohammad Afzal Guru.
