Wreaths laid on bodies of 2 CRPF men

SRINAGAR, Nov 8: Wreaths were today laid on the bodies of two CRPF men, killed in a militant attack at Awantipora yesterday, by their senior officers at Humhama.
The bodies were of the two slain cops, Pradeep Kumar and Mahesh, were flown to their respective areas.
Militants had ambushed the CRPF petrol of 130 Battalion on Srinagar-Jammu National highway in Jawbrara area of Awatipora at 6.30 PM last evening. They were fired upon with automatic rifles.
The attack was carried out hours after the visit of Congress vice-president, Rahul Gandhi, to the neighboring Pulwama town to inaugurate the cold storage complex.
