IGP Traffic holds meeting on overcharging by cab operators

SRINAGAR, Oct 22: Acting on complaints of overcharging by cab operators, a meeting was held today under the Chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Traffic J&K, Munir Ahmad Khan.
The meeting was told that if any PSV Operator is found overcharging from the passengers, they can contact the nearby Traffic Police Officers/Officials and also on the following contact numbers of DIG Traffic, Range Kashmir 9419192362 (O), 2455078, SP Traffic, City Srinagar 9419166437 (M), 2455179 (O), Dy. S.P Traffic City North Srinagar 9419001956, Dy. S.P Traffic City South Srinagar 9622422143, Traffic Control Room 2450022, 2485396, Tourist Taxi Stand No.1. 9419010633, Tourist Taxi stand No. 2. 9596247173, Taxi Stand Tangbagh 9419019278, Meerak Shah Taxi Stand Batmaloo 2470442, Taxi Stand Pampore 9796155521 and Taxi Stand Khanabal9796903006.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police Traffic Range Kashmir Srinagar, Jagjit Kumar, Regional Transport Officer Kashmir, Anees Ahmad, SP Traffic, City Srinagar, Haseeb-ur-Rehman, SP Traffic Rural Kashmir, Manzoor Ahmad Dalal, all Deputy Superintendents of Police Traffic Range, Kashmir and representatives of PSV Operators.
