Gayoor’s Shafaq Manzar released

SRINAGAR, Oct 22: Shafaq Manzar, the poetic collection of litterateur, teacher and scholar late Syed Ghulam Rasool Gayur was here today released on his eighth death anniversary.
The book contains poems written by late Gayur in Urdu and Kashmiri. This is the fourth book of late Gayur released in recent years.
The function was jointly organised by Gayur Memorial Foundation and Adbi Markaz Kamraz.
Speakers on the occasion paid glowing tributes to late Gayur and highlighted his contribution in teaching, poetry particularly na’át writing and public life. They appreciated Showket Gayur for taking up the job of bringing the works of Gayur to the fore.
A galaxy of intellectuals including Farooq Nazki, Rahman Rahi, Dr. Aziz Hajni, Prof. Shafi Shouq and Shujaat Bukhari were present on the occasion.
