JU Inter- Collegiate Handball tourney begins

JAMMU, Oct 21: The Inter-Collegiate Handball tournament– 2013 for men and women organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu, Jammu was declared opened by Prof. Neelam Saraf, Dean Academic Affairs, and Prof. Dhian S. Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Prof. Neelam Saraf, was introduced with all the participating team players before declaring the tournament open.
The tournament, which commenced today in both the sections ( men &women) shall be played up to October 24 in which seven teams of women section and eleven teams of men section are participating.
However, the Inter- Collegiate wrestling ( Women) tournament which had been postponed from November 11 due to unavoidable circumstances shall now be organized on October 24. 2013 at 10 a.m. at Jammu University Gymnasium Hall by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, Jammu.
