Huge Eid congregations were held across the Valley. The biggest congregations were held at Hazratbal shrine, Jamia Masjid and TRC ground here.
No prayers could be possible today at Eidgah today since the ground was wet following recent rains.
The day began with people offering morning prayers and greeting their family members and neighbours. The children dressed in colourful outfits accompanied their elders to offer the prayers.
Reports of huge congregations were received from almost all the districts including Baramulla, Kupwara, Srinagar, Budgam, Bandipora, Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama and Budgam districts.
