Hideout busted in Reasi

REASI, Aug 11: Few days prior to Independence Day, security forces claimed to have recovered huge quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives in Dhana area of Mahore in Reasi district, today.
Defence spokesman said that based on input of own sources, a joint operation was carried out by the troops of Rashtriya Rifles of Counter Insurgency Force Uniform. Troops busted a hideout in general area Dhana, Tehsil Mahore in district Reasi.
The recovery included one 5.56 mm rifle with one magazine, 20 rounds of 5.56 ammunition, two 12 bore rifle single barrel, 16 rounds 12 bore ammunition, 22 fired cases of 12 bore ammunition, six HMG ammunition, ten rounds 7.62 mm ammunition, 221 rounds 7.62 mm AK ammunition, one RPG (destroyed on spot), six UBGL Grenades (destroyed on spot), four kg PEK explosives (destroyed on spot), 13 electronic detonator (destroyed on spot), 52 PIKA ammunition link, one binocular, three battery secondary for Radio Set, three blanket, three cooking utensil, ten kg rice, one Nokia battery charger, one Nokia mobile battery, one torch, two Pencil cell and one sword, spokesman added.
