Wani receives Doda Hajj pilgrims

SRINAGAR, Sept 10 :Minister for Roads & Buildings Abdul Majid Wani today visited Haj house Srinagar and received Haj pilgrims from erstwhile Doda district who arrived here for their Haj journey from Srinagar International Airport to Madina Munawara.
Interacting with Azmeen-e-Hajj, the Minister wished them happy journey, prayed for their successful Hajj and safe return. He also presented gifts to the Hajjis on the occasion.
The Hajj pilgrims also reciprocated their best wishes to the Minister.
The Minister went round the Haj house and took stock of the arrangements put in place for convenience of Haj pilgrims at Haj house.
Briefing about the arrangements, Chief Executive Officer, J&K State Haj Committee Fayaz Ahmad informed the Minister that all necessary arrangements with required paraphernalia have been put in place for the convenience of Azmeen-e-Hajj.
The Haj pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made by the State Government for their boarding and lodging at Srinagar.
The Haj pilgrims from erstwhile Doda District arrived here at Hajj House and would proceed to Madina Munawara to perform Haj.
