Electoral rolls summary revision in Doda

DODA, Sept 8: The schedule for summary revision of photo Electoral Rolls 2014 has been issued.
According to the District Election Officer, Doda, the integration of mother rolls with supplements and printing of draft roll has been fixed from 16-08-2013 (Thursday) to 14-09-2013 (Saturday), draft publication of rolls on 16-09-2013 (Monday), filing of claims and objections from 16-09-2013(Monday) to 15-10-2013
(Tuesday), disposal of claims and objections would be made by 18-11-2013 (Thursday).
However the special campaign with BLOs would be held on 22-09-2013 (Sunday), 29-09-2013 (Sunday) and on 06-10-2013 (Sunday), reading of relevant part/section of Photo Electoral Rolls in Gram Sabha/Local Bodies and RWA meetings etc and verification of names on 21-09-2013 (Saturday) and 22-09-2013 (Monday), updating the database, merging of photographs, updating the Control Tables and preparation and printing of supplementary list would be held from 19-11-2013 (Tuesday) to 04-01-2014 (Saturday)besides the final publication of electoral rolls was fixed on 06-01-2014 (Monday).
Accordingly the claims/objections have been invited from the general public of district Doda especially from the youth who would attain the age of 18 years as on or before 01-01-2014.
They can submit their claims in the office of Electoral Registration officers (ACR Doda /SDM Bhaderwah) /AEROs (Tehsildar Doda/Bhaderwah/Thathri/Gandoh/Naib Tehsildar Bhagwah /Khillani / Thathri / Gandoh and the BLOs concerned on Form No:6 (Additions), Form No: 7 (Objection), Form No: 8 (Corrections) and Form No: 8-A (Transposition) W.E.f:- 16-09-2013 (Monday) to 15-10-2013 (Tuesday).
