Moulana Almadani new president of Jamiat Ahlihadees

SRINAGAR, Aug 25: Jamait Ahlihadees (J&K) Majlis Shoura today elected Moulana Prof Ghulam Mohammad Bhat Almadani as the new president of the organisation.
A spokesperson of the party said Moulana Almadani defeated his nearest opponent ex- president Moulana Ghulam Rasool Malik. “Moulana Almadani got 282 out of 425 votes and was declared winner by the chief election commissioner Mufti Mohammad Yakoob Baba Almadani. He was general secretary of Jamiat Ahlihadees under the president ship of martyr Moulana Prof Mohammad Ramzan.”
“He is presently PPrincipal of Salafia Arabic College Bemina. Moulana Almadani is among the first people who completed their studies from Madina University. He is reckoned to be one of the best Ulema of Kashmir,” the spokesman added.
