NCC Unit of Dogra Degree College receives an Associate NCC Officer (ANO)

SAMBA, Oct 28: Dogra Degree College got a sanction for NCC unit (Senior Division boys) under the 4 J&K Battalion from the year 2020 onwards. Mr. Rajinder Kumar, Assistant Professor in Commerce department was appointed as Care Taker Officer of the newly formed NCC unit of Dogra Degree College. Later Mr. Rajinder Kumar qualified the interview and was deputed to undergo ANO training at Officers’ Training Academy Kamptee, Nagpur. The deputed faculty attended PRCN course at OTA Kamptee from 26th July 2021 to 23rd October 2021. After successfully completing the three month long training Mr. Rajinder Kumar has now been promoted to the rank of an ANO NCC which is equivalent to a lieutenant rank. He was given a warm reception on his return from the camp by the management and the faculty of Dogra Degree College. Mr. Rajinder shared his learning experiences with the rest of the members of his team and thanks the management for giving him this opportunity. Appreciating his efforts Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust congratulated him for successfully completing the training and getting promoted as ANO. Principal Dogra Degree College applauded this achievement of Mr. Rajinder Kumar and added that with all this learning, the faculty would add value to the institution in general and to the NCC unit of Dogra Degree College in specific. The newly inducted ANO was appreciated and applauded in the presence of the college faculty.
