Vijay Goel takes over Gandhi Smriti Darshan Samiti as vice-chairman

NEW DELHI, Sep 11: Former Union Minister Vijay Goel has taken over as Vice-chairman of the Gandhi Smriti Darshan Samiti, headed by Prime Minister Modi, succeeding Union Northeast Region Minister Gangapuram Kishan Reddy.

Gandhi Smriti, formerly known as Birla House, is a museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi on the Tees January Marg here. It is the venue where Gandhi spent the last 144 days of his life and where he was assassinated on January 30, 1948.
