Labourer dies, another injured in mishap

SRINAGAR, Apr 8: A 17-year-old labourer from Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir died in a road accident near GB Panth Hospital in Srinagar on Thursday morning.
According to CNS report, Omar Qadir Ganai, son of Ghulam Qadir Ganai, a resident of Wakora Ganderbal, died on the spot.
Another youth namely Danish Ahmed Butt, 22, son of Muhammad Altaf Butt, a resident of Wakura, was also injured in the accident.
A senior police official while talking to CNS said that a case under relevant sections of the law has been registered to ascertain the cause of the accident.
