Bring back students from Kirgizstan: Cong

JAMMU, Apr 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress (JKPCC) today urged the Govt of India to evacuate the students from Kirgizstan (Russian), stating that they have reportedly made contacts with authorities on various occasions, but no heed has been paid to their request.
In a statement the JKPCC Vice President Mohd Anwar Bhat expressed anguish over the pathetic condition confronting student in Kirgizstan (Russian), who are stuck their due to the suspension of internal flights in wake of the pandemic Covid 19 and sought their evacuation, on war footing basis.
A statement issued to KNS reads , PCC Vice President invited the attention of Govt of India towards the families they (students) belong to and appealed them to take early effective measures to bring back them.
I would also urge the Lt. Governor Administration J&K to impress upon the External Affairs Ministry in this connection in order to ensure that students return their homeland, at the earliest, Bhat added and reiterated his appeal to people of Jammu and Kashmir to stay indoors and take all precaution in order to combat the covid-19.
