Injured Kulgam youth succumbs at SKIMS

SRINAGAR, Mar 31: A youth, who was shot at and critically injured by unidentified gunmen at Turigam village in Kulgam district recently succumbed to his injures in Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura today.
Police blamed militants for the killing.
Reports said the 28 year old youth, Waseem Ahmad son of Mohammad Amin and a resident of Turigam village in Kulgam district was fired upon by unknown gunmen on March 21. In the incident, Waseem Ahmed was critically injured.
Immediately after the incident took place Waseem was shifted to nearby hospital, where from he was referred to SKIMS Srinagar for treatment.
Waseem lost his battle with injuries on Tuesday early morning.
After completing medico-legal formalities, his body was handed over to his kin for last rites.
Meanwhile, a case already stands registered in local police station and investigation is going on to nab the shooters, involved in the incident.
