Sumbal Police continues its War against drugs; One person with 65 KG of Charas powder

SRINAGAR, Mar 28: Continuing its drive drug peddlers, on the directions of SSP Bandipora, Rahul Malik, a police party of Police Station Sumbal led by SHO P/S Sumbal Shri Muneeb Ul Islam under the supervision of SDPO Sumbal Saqib Ghani arrested a person namely Manzoor Ahmad Dar S/o Abdul Rashid Dar R/o Pushwari Naidkhai and recovered around Sixty Five (65) kilogram of charas powder from his possession.
In this connection case FIR under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sumbal and investigation into the matter has been started.
The people of the area in general and the senior citizens and youth in particular have appreciated the continuous drive of Sumbal Police.
